No Migrants Reversed at Lithuanian Border for Fourth Day

The State Border Guard Service (VSAT) of Lithuania has reported that not a single migrant trying to illegally cross the state border and enter Lithuania from Belarus has been reversed for the fourth day in a row.

On Friday, the border service in Latvia recorded 67 such individuals, while Polish border officials reported on Thursday that they had reversed 44 foreigners.

In total, 11,211 illegal migrants have been refused entry into Lithuania since January 2022, with 2,191 being refused entry this year.

Since the start of the migration crisis caused by Belarus, Lithuanian border guards have prevented 21,500 migrants from illegally entering the country.
