Vivo India has recently teased the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G, in India. The company shared a post on its official website and social media platforms, hinting at the imminent release. The teaser also mentioned that the phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Vivo’s official website, and physical stores.
The shared information provides a glimpse of the smartphone, confirming that it will feature a curved-edge AMOLED display. It is believed that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G is a rebranded version of the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G smartphone. This speculation was supported by the appearance of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G on the Indian BIS and Bluetooth SIG certification websites, where it was listed with the model number V2321.
Although Vivo has not made an official announcement regarding the launch date, tipster Paras Guglani has speculated that the phone may be released in the third week of September.
Expected specifications of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G include a 120 Hz 3D curved display with a 1200 Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is also rumored to feature a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Performance-wise, leaks suggest that the phone may be powered by the Dimensity 7200 SoC. It is expected to be available in two storage options: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Reports indicate that the price of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G could be around Rs 23,999.
