SpaceX Launches 22 Starlink Satellites into Orbit

SpaceX, Elon Musk’s aerospace company, successfully launched 22 Starlink v2 Mini satellites into orbit. The launch took place between Friday, Sept. 15 and Saturday, Sept. 16, as seen in a video on the NASASpaceflight YouTube page.

Residents in New Jersey and Pennsylvania were able to capture footage of the rocket launch.

Starlink, according to its website, is the world’s first and largest satellite constellation that aims to provide broadband internet access using low Earth orbit. This technology will enable users to have reliable internet connections capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls, and more.

With the launch of these additional satellites, SpaceX continues to expand its satellite constellation and contribute to the improvement of global internet connectivity.
