Starlink Brings High-Speed Satellite Internet to Chilean Retail

SpaceX’s Starlink project has arrived in the Chilean retail market, selecting Paris as its official store to sell its products in the initial stage. The Standard Satellite Internet Kit is now available online and will soon be available in the country’s leading stores.

Starlink was established in 2019 as a project by SpaceX to provide high-quality, low-cost satellite internet service. The company’s satellites gained worldwide attention when they were first launched into space. Today, the project has become a reality, offering a range of products and services for sale. One of these products, the Standard Satellite Internet Kit, is now available in Chilean retail through Paris.

Tesla’s creator chose the department store as the first retail outlet to sell their products in Chile before expanding to other chains. The Standard Satellite Internet Kit can be found on Paris’s e-commerce platform.

“We are delighted to offer our customers an innovative and high-quality service like Starlink. For now, it is available online and will soon be available in our stores. This complements the wide variety of products and services we offer on our marketplace,” said Juan Luis Taverne, Manager of New Business at Paris.

The Standard Satellite Internet Kit consists of a device that provides a high-speed, low-latency internet alternative. As the world’s first and largest constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit (550 kilometers above the Earth), Starlink offers broadband connection capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls, and more.

The device is installed outdoors and has a simple installation process designed for users to set it up themselves. With the guidance of the Starlink app, users can find an unobstructed location to establish a strong connection with the satellites.

The Standard Satellite Internet Kit is now available on www.paris.cl and will soon be sold in major Paris stores throughout Chile.
