Another group of Starlink internet satellites is scheduled to be launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral. The launch will take place at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 at 12:03 a.m. Friday, with a backup opportunity at 12:30 a.m. if necessary. Additional backup options are also available on Friday and Saturday.
The 45th Weather Squadron has predicted a 65% chance of favorable launch conditions, which decreases to 45% if there is a 24-hour delay.
The booster being used for this mission has already completed four flights, including the launch of Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER, and two Starlink missions. Once the booster reaches stage separation, it will be caught by the autonomous drone ship named “Just Read the Instructions” in the Atlantic Ocean.
