Skywatch 16: Starlink Satellite Train and Moon Viewing

On Tuesday night at 8:06 p.m., a Starlink satellite train passed directly overhead in Pennsylvania, USA. With a clear sky, it provided a great view for observers.

On Wednesday and Thursday night, there will be an opportunity to witness the waxing crescent moon passing through the Constellation Scorpius on the Southwest horizon during the evenings. The moon will be located next to the red supergiant star Antares. This event offers a fascinating celestial display for skywatchers.

Furthermore, fall officially begins in the predawn hours of Saturday. As we transition into the new season, it presents a chance to observe the changing night sky and experience different astronomical phenomena.
