Nokia Launches Nokia G42 5G Smartphone in India: Price and Specifications

Nokia has introduced its latest smartphone, the Nokia G42 5G, in India. The device, offered by its licensee HMD Global, features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 480+ SoC and comes with a triple rear camera setup. The phone also boasts a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging and runs on Android 13 with promised updates.

The Nokia G42 5G is priced at Rs. 12,599 and offers a single configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It comes in two color options: So Grey and So Purple. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon starting September 15th.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia G42 5G runs on Android 13 and is promised to receive two years of Android OS upgrades along with three years of monthly security updates. It sports a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 560 nits. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
