Intelsat has announced that David J. Broadbent, formerly of Raytheon Technologies, has been appointed as its new President of Government Solutions. This appointment is effective immediately.
In his new role, Broadbent will oversee Intelsat’s global government business, which has been renamed Government Solutions. The company’s spokesperson confirmed this information to Via Satellite.
Prior to joining Intelsat, Broadbent served as the President of Raytheon Technologies’ Space Systems business unit. With a tenure of 21 years at Raytheon, he held various senior positions related to business development, program execution, contracts, supply chain management, and financial planning.
Intelsat CEO David Wajsgras expressed confidence in Broadbent’s ability to navigate complex U.S. and international government business environments. He also commended Broadbent’s track record of delivering exceptional results and building strong teams and customer relationships.
