India’s solar mission, Aditya-L1, has successfully completed its third earth-bound manoeuvre, according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). This milestone has allowed the satellite to reach a new orbit of 296 km x 71,767 km. Aditya-L1 is expected to complete a total of five orbit manoeuvres during its journey around Earth, with three already accomplished.
The next manoeuvre, known as EBN#4, is scheduled for September 15, 2023, at approximately 02:00 Hrs (IST). The second earth-bound manoeuvre took place on September 5, achieving an orbit of 282 km x 40,225 km. The first manoeuvre was performed on September 3.
