Hamas Releases Video of Attack on Israeli Military Column in Gaza

Hamas has released a video showing one of their fighters launching an attack on an Israeli military column in Gaza. The Israeli forces have entered deeply into the Hamas-controlled enclave but are facing guerilla attacks from Hamas militants. In preparation for possible Israeli incursions, Hamas has constructed kilometers of underground tunnels and bunkers throughout the Gaza Strip.

The recently released footage by Hamas displays fighters emerging from one of these tunnels, armed with rocket launchers. The Hamas squad sneakily approached a convoy of Israeli vehicles, which included a tank, and commenced firing rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs). The exact time and location of the video remain unknown.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported suffering casualties in recent clashes in Gaza. Currently, 16 IDF soldiers have been killed during the Gaza operation. Israeli forces seem to be making advances along three primary routes. One route is observed in the northeast corner of Gaza, while another is located south of Gaza City, intersecting with the main north-south highway. The third advance originates from the northwest corner of Gaza, stretching approximately three miles along the Mediterranean coast and reaching the outskirts of the Shati and Jabaliya refugee camps on the periphery of Gaza City.

Hamas has issued threats of further violence, with Ghazi Hamad from the group’s political wing stating that they intend to carry out additional attacks similar to the one on October 7th. During this attack, the militants breached the Israeli border and killed 1,400 Israelis, mostly civilians. Hamad emphasized that the Al Aqsa Flood was just the beginning and that they have the determination, resolve, and capabilities to continue fighting.
