Guiyang and Guian New District: China’s Digital Valley

The digital economy and data have emerged as crucial factors for development. Guiyang and Guian New District in Guizhou, located in the southwest region of China, have gained recognition as “China’s Digital Valley” for their pioneering efforts in the big data industry. These regions have played a significant role in shaping the future of technological advancements.

One prime example of technological infrastructure in Guizhou is the “Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope” (FAST). This major scientific project, completed on September 25, 2016, in Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou, aims to unravel the mysteries of the universe. Also known as “FAST,” this telescope has expanded our understanding of the universe’s origin and evolution while attracting international scientific research institutions for collaboration.

Guizhou Satellite TV has produced a series called “Be My Guest ยท Modern Guizhou.” This reality show invites foreigners to experience and document their lives in Guizhou.
