All.Space Names Chris Emerson Chairman of the Board

Chris Emerson, former head of Airbus U.S. Space and Defense, has been appointed as the chairman of the board for All.Space, a British manufacturer specializing in satellite communication terminals. All.Space, previously known as Isotropic Systems, underwent rebranding a year ago. Emerson’s appointment was officially announced on September 11.

All.Space is currently preparing to commence production on their fifth-generation smart terminal by the fourth quarter of 2023. Initially, the company had projected the production to begin in late 2022. With more than $116 million raised thus far, All.Space has garnered significant investment interest, including from Washington, D.C.-based AE Industrial Partners, of which Emerson is a partner.

Emerson expressed his excitement about All.Space’s pioneering work in satellite communications, specifically emphasizing the transformative potential of their inventive smart terminal. The terminal will offer seamless connectivity between satellite and cellular networks, allowing individuals and organizations to access and utilize multiple major networks through a single device.

John Finney, the founder and CEO of All.Space, stated that the smart terminal will provide “3G, 4G, and 5G cellular multi-network integration plug-and-play options.” The terminal is currently undergoing extensive performance and reliability testing. In its initial phase, the company will primarily focus on serving the needs of the NATO and Five Eyes defense markets. The Five Eyes alliance, consisting of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, collaborates on intelligence sharing and defense matters.
