The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office recently held another successful satellite license to carry concealed permit event at the North Fayette Township Community Center. Throughout the day, the sheriff’s office processed a total of 460 permits. These events are organized to assist individuals who may have difficulty accessing the courthouse during regular business hours in renewing their permits.
The upcoming satellite event is scheduled to take place on October 21 at the Monroeville Municipal Building from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. To renew a permit at one of these events, individuals only need to provide $20 and a valid ID.
These events have been greatly appreciated by the community as they provide a convenient opportunity for those with busy schedules or limited access to the courthouse. By bringing the permit renewal process to different locations, the Sheriff’s Office aims to ensure that individuals are able to maintain their concealed carry permits without unnecessary obstacles.
The Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone interested in attending these satellite events to mark their calendars and take advantage of the convenient renewal process. By making the permit renewal process accessible and efficient, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office aims to uphold public safety and support responsible gun ownership.
